The At Risk Movement is originally a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Brooklyn, New York. We are now operating as a registered NPC in South Africa and are currently seeking funding and institutional support to:
Implement our dispute resolution and violence prevention programming
Train youth in leadership, conflict transformation, and entrepreneurship
Provide materials and equipment for manufacturing garments under the Evolve label
Establish youth-led economic cooperatives for long-term sustainability
Social and Economic Development Goals
Our work in South Africa isn’t just about violence prevention—it’s about sustainable development. To that end, we’ve designed an economic partnership model that connects Native South Africans and Native Black Americans. Our plan is to have South African manufacturers produce garments for our fashion label Evolve, while Black American partners handle international distribution. This will create meaningful employment opportunities for high-risk South African youth while fostering economic solidarity between our communities.

Credible Messenger Central Definition - 1. A person that consciously or subconsciously creates chaotic situations or emits energy that attracts negative confrontations with others. 2. A person who is an intentional and known mischief maker and is motivated by negative stimuli, incidents, and altercations. 3. An influential person who is a “troublemaker” in the community. 4. A person who instigates or provokes others to argue or fight.
